AVEN plans a pinned thread on Race and Asexuality

A pinned thread? The largest Asexual organization in the world plans to introduce the topic on its forums using only a single thread? It seems they’ve learned nothing from the Aromantic forum debacle.

David Jay announced this on his Twitter feed, and as the spokesperson for the organization he must remain calm, but AVEN completely ignored the issue in the past. Throwing a bone to the people complaining about it does nothing, nor does it make asexual people who are members of minorities feel valued.

I think the people who have a much stronger connection to this issue than I do can comment on it more effectively.
